Israeli Hostages' Enraged After Meeting PM Benjamin Netanyahu

Israeli captives’ families attended a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday (December 5). During the meeting, the families whose loved ones are held captive in Gaza by Hamas expressed frustration and disappointment with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s dissatisfactory approach regarding the issue. They accused him of failing to secure the release of their relatives and criticized his approach to negotiations with Hamas.

One of the attendees, Dani Miran, has even said to Israel’s Channel 13, that the authority’s performance was ‘ugly, insulting, messy’. 23-year-old hostage Romi Gone’s mother, Meirav Leshem Gonen even questioned the PM whether the war’s primary motive was to bring back the hostages or not. Despite his[PM] affirmation, Gonen remained skeptical. Several other families have shared their concerns and expressed how much of a toll the situation is taking on them.

They called for a more effective and assertive strategy to bring about the release of the Israeli captives. Additionally, the families demanded increased transparency and communication from the Israeli government regarding its efforts to secure their loved ones’ freedom. The families have also shared their concerns regarding the possible torture, and assaults that might be going on on the hostages.

While the sufferers are slowly losing their faith and reliability in Netanyahu’s government, the PM shared his concerns regarding the issue and despair over the brutalities that have taken place.
