Israel-Hamas Reach Truce Deal

Israel and Hamas agree to a 4 day truce deal to stop the bombing and release hostages from both sides. The agreement has been reached under mediation by Qatar after 46 days of heavy bombardment of Gaza by Israeli forces that claimed the lives of over 13,000 Palestinians, most of which are women and children following the October 7th Hamas attack that resulted in 240 Israeli hostage being taken and 1200 Israelis killed.
About 150 Palestinian women and children who are held in Israeli prisons are said to be released in exchange for 50 Israeli hostages held in Gaza.
