Discover the timeless elegance of Benaroshi craftsmanship at The Muslin’s exclusive festival, “Timeless Magnificence of the Bangladeshi Benarasi.” This event is set to take place on 28 February 2024 at Le Meridien, Dhaka.
The event will highlight the live Benaroshi Weaving Process where visitors will witness the intricate art of Benaroshi weaving firsthand as the skilled artisans of The Muslin showcase their expertise live at the festival.
Tasnuva Islam, the founder, director, and CEO of The Muslin, has always organized various such events to preserve, promote and promote the traditional art of Bangladesh. This year’s Banarasi Festival is being organized to encourage Bangladeshi Banarasi artisans. The founder shares, “Timeless Magnificence of the Bangladeshi Banarsi is not just a show. It is a celebration of our heritage, a tribute to the skilled hands who touch magic in every thread.”
On-the-spot purchases will be available with a diverse range of Benaroshi styles, from traditional to contemporary, each piece telling a unique story of culture.
The festival, running from February 28th to March 9th, invites guests daily from 10 am to 10 pm, offering many opportunities to engage with Benaroshi artistry.
